Congratulations to all the Grade 4 & 5 students who participated in the School Reading Link Challenge put on by the Fraser Valley Regional Library and thank you to Mrs. Deol, Div. 4 teacher, for leading students in this activity.

The students were very impressive with their knowledge, enthusiasm and positivity!

Good luck to the team being sent to Clearbrook Public Library for the Library Reading Link Challenge next Wednesday, March 8.

In our school district's four-year strategic plan, we have targeted improved early learning as a means of impacting student success. At Mathxwí Elementary, all primary classrooms have committed their year to explore practical ways to improve early literacy learning.

Hello Auguston Community,

Congrats to Div. 10 & 12 classes who were rewarded with a pizza party for being the top two classes in our school-wide food drive in December!

Students were invited to participate in Twins Day "No Uni for a Toonie" by dressing alike as twins (or triplets, quadruplets, etc.) on Friday, January 20.

The Ministry of Education and Childcare is looking for your input on student learning in our province.

Over the coming weeks, students in Grade 4 here at Auguston Traditional will be completing a Satisfaction Survey put out by the Ministry. This will give them a chance to report on their experience in school and what sorts of after school activities or experiences they may have. The surveys take about half an hour to complete and students will be working on during class time.

Noticing a shift in literacy instruction across the district? Wonder what is going on in the classroom down the hall?  

Our Food Drive was a HUGE success! Way to go Auguston! They had to use a second bin to contain it all!
