A BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Diana McAllister, Kindergarten teacher (and part-time florist/gardener 😊) & Mr. Robert Carmichael, retired principal, our school garden volunteers, for the incredibly gorgeous flowers that brighten up our school!

Welcome back to school! After what has been a busy couple of weeks we are starting to get settled into classes and routines here at Auguston Traditional. It has been wonderful to see the excitement from our students as we move into our new year and as they make new connections with teachers and friends. Being new here as well I can say that this is an amazing school community full of dedicated staff, parents, and volunteers and also some pretty great students. I have really appreciated the warm welcome I have received and am looking forward to an awesome year ahead.

Good Luck to our Grade 5’s as you move on to middle school! You will do well!

Thank you very much to the team of parent volunteers who prepared and served the potatoes and lettuce that were harvested from the school garden for more than 200 students to enjoy. As well, thank you to the Auguston Traditional PAC for their support of this event by funding some of the tubs of potatoes, the lettuce transplants and the luncheon supplies. Additional thanks to the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Spuds in Tubs program who also funded a few of the tubs.

Thank you, Mr. Lande, and Volunteers for making it a great Sports Day! Our first Sports Day since 2019!!!

Criminal Record Checks

All Noon Hour Supervisors & Volunteers at Auguston MUST have a Criminal Record Check. If you are interested to apply to be a Noon Hour Supervisor or to Volunteer (in the classroom, on field trips, etc.), please see the process below for completing a Criminal Record Check.

Note that the Volunteer forms are completed annually every school year and those will be available in September. The Criminal Record Check lasts for 5 years so you could start the process now for September if interested.

Yearbooks can still be ordered, but will include the full price of the yearbook and shipping costs.
