What is the PAC (Parent Advisory Council)?

Every parent or guardian who has a child at Auguston Traditional Elementary is by rights on the P.A.C. (Parent Advisory Council).

The Auguston PAC is a volunteer organization comprised of parents who are all dedicated to the successful education of our children. The purpose of our organization is to aid students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs; to promote open communication between administration, teachers, and parents; and to encourage Auguston Traditional School spirit.

The PAC is headed by an executive committee who guide monthly meetings and will liaison between the principal, teachers, and parents. This committee welcomes your ideas, suggestions, and comments. Information is shared at monthly PAC executive meetings or PAC meetings. We plan fundraisers to enhance all programs and share ideas. Some of our Fundraising events include: Fun Fair, Hot Lunch, Movie Nights, Popcorn Days, and Scholastic Book Fair. All fundraising proceeds are put directly back into our school. The time our parent volunteers give in assisting in these fundraising events contributes greatly to our success as a school. Thank you!!
