Spuds and Salad Luncheon

Thank you very much to the team of parent volunteers who prepared and served the potatoes and lettuce that were harvested from the school garden for more than 200 students to enjoy. As well, thank you to the Auguston Traditional PAC for their support of this event by funding some of the tubs of potatoes, the lettuce transplants and the luncheon supplies. Additional thanks to the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Spuds in Tubs program who also funded a few of the tubs.

Note that the Volunteer forms are completed annually every school year and those will be available in September. The Criminal Record Check lasts for 5 years so you could start the process now for September if interested.

Indigenous plants in the school garden

Special thanks to our Indigenous Support Worker, Elder Tina Lakey, and Indigenous Support Worker Assistant, Mrs. Joyce Brozozog, for assisting students with planting them.
