Parking

Please be mindful of our ‘no parking’ zones along the front of the school property on Stephen Leacock Drive. We have been placing cones out front in our areas that are of concern – leading up to the crosswalks at the top of the path and across from the gym. Unfortunately, people have been moving our cones to park in the ‘no parking’ zones. Bylaw officers will continue to do spot checks and ticket those parking between the no stopping signs. At the top of the path the no parking signs are from before the fire hydrant to the corner leading into the bus lane.

It can be difficult to find parking at pick up and drop off times, however, the sight lines leading up to crosswalks are in place for safety purposes, so that drivers can see people using the crosswalks with enough time to slow down. By moving cones and parking there, it compromises the safety of our students and families. We ask that you respect the ‘no parking’ zones and please do not move the cones in order to park there. We appreciate your help in keeping all of our students safe.
