Terry Fox Run

We are having a Terry Fox run on September 28. During this event, the students will be learning a little about the work Terry Fox did to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. They will then get to participate in a school wide Terry Fox run (around our track).

On this day, students are encouraged to contribute a “toonie for Terry” thru schoolcashonline and all contributions raised will be given to the Terry Fox Foundation. Tax-deductible donations can be made through the Terry Fox Foundation: https://schools.terryfox.ca/139815

Students are also encouraged to wear Canada colors this day (Red and White) in celebration of our work together and shared commitment to this cause. The run will take place after recess.
