Spuds and Salad Luncheon

A number of primary classes at Auguston are involved in the B. C. Ministry of Agriculture’s Spuds in Tubs Project, and in planting and growing lettuces in the Auguston school garden.  These classes will be having a  SPUDS & SALAD FEST on Tuesday, June 13 at 12:15 pm (Lunch Time). Please watch for a notice coming home from your child's teacher if your child's class will be participating.

Students are asked to bring:

  • a bowl for their serving of salad (plastic would be good)
  • a plate (again, plastic/unbreakable) would be good
  • a fork

We would like to thank the many parent volunteers who have made this event possible by assisting with planting the lettuce, watering the garden, harvesting the lettuce and preparing the potatoes and salad. Special thanks to Emma Hatfield for coordinating everything for us. The support of our wonderful parent volunteers is greatly appreciated.
