Salmon Fry Release

Div. 9 & 11 classes will go on a field trip to Bateman Park on May 6 to release salmon fry.

Students will travel by school bus leaving Auguston at 9:15am to arrive at Bateman Park by 9:30am. Once students arrive, they will release the salmon, have a snack and complete an activity. Students will leave Bateman Park at 10:45am to arrive back at Auguston by 11am.

Students need to bring a snack to the park and have appropriate dress for the weather.

Parents are asked to provide consent and contribute $ 4 in schoolcash for the cost of the bus (no cost for international student).

Approved volunteers are needed to accompany students on the bus (please indicate your request to volunteer in schoolcash and your participation will be confirmed by your child's teacher). Volunteers MUST have the appropriate paperwork valid for the current school year and an approved criminal record check (CRC lasts 5 years).
