Salmon Fry Release

Div. 8, 10 & 11 classes will go on a field trip to Bateman Creek on May 24 to release salmon fry.  

Students will travel by school bus leaving Auguston at 11:20am to arrive at Bateman Creek by 11:40am. Once they arrive, they will release the salmon, enjoy a picnic and complete an activity. Students will leave Bateman Creek at 1pm to arrive back at Auguston by 1:20pm. 

Parents/Guardians are asked to provide consent and contribute $2.50 in schoolcash for the cost of the bus by Thursday, May 16.

Approved volunteers are needed to accompany students on the bus (please indicate your request to volunteer in schoolcash and your participation will be confirmed by your child's teacher). Volunteers MUST have the appropriate paperwork valid for the current school year and an approved criminal record check (CRC lasts 5 years).
