Ice Skating - Div. 1-5

Division 1-5 students are going Ice Skating on Wednesday, Feb. 4!

Please complete consent in schoolcash for your child to participate in ice skating. The arena rental & bussing costs will be covered by the school.

Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for skating with a helmet & ice skates (either from home or rentals) and warm clothing.

Students will leave Auguston at 12pm and travel to ARC by school bus arriving at 12:15pm. Skating time is from 12:30-1:30pm. The bus will leave ARC at 1:45pm.

Parents are asked to pay for skate rental and/or helmet rental costs if needed.

Students need to wear a helmet and can bring their own or rent one there for $2.55. It's possible the arena could run out of helmets so if students can bring their own bike or hockey helmet, that is preferred. Due to this being a school event, helmets are REQUIRED for all students on the ice.

Skates can also be rented for $3.80 a pair. Please indicate your child’s shoe size.

We are asking for 2 Parent Volunteers per class. Please make sure you have completed the annual Volunteer Process & have an approved Criminal Record Check. Volunteers will be contacted by their child’s teacher.
