Div. 5-7 to Zoo

Div. 5-7 classes will visit the Greater Vancouver Zoo on Thursday, May 22. The purpose of this field trip is to observe a variety of animal habitats and ecosystems.

Students will travel by school bus leaving Auguston at 9:00am to arrive at the zoo by 9:30am. Students will then leave the zoo at 1:30pm to arrive back at Auguston by 2pm.

Note: for Div. 5 & 6, cost is $25 WITHOUT a membership at the Greater Vancouver Zoo OR $12 WITH a membership at the Greater Vancouver Zoo. There is NO cost for Div. 7. Cost will be covered as the class won the zoo trip from the coupon book sales. Parents are asked to provide consent and contribute in schoolcash by May 12. If your child has a zoo membership, please ensure they bring their membership card with them the day of the field trip.

Volunteers are needed to accompany students on the bus (please indicate your request to volunteer in schoolcash and your participation will be confirmed by your child's teacher). Volunteers MUST have the appropriate paperwork valid for the current school year and an approved criminal record check (CRC lasts 5 years).
