Cineplex for Gr. 3-5

Grade 3-5 students are scheduled to go to Cineplex Cinemas Abbotsford and VIP (High Street) on Wednesday, Oct. 30, to see The Wild Robot. The purpose of this field trip is Language Arts - adaptations of text to film and perspective, audience and purpose.

The bus will leave Auguston at 9:00am (arriving to the theatre by 9:30am) and leaving Cineplex at 12:00pm (arriving back at Auguston by 12:30pm).

Parents are asked to provide consent and contribute $15.00 in schoolcash by Oct. 23 for the cost of the bus & admission. There is also an option for a Kids Tray Combo (Jr. Drink, candy, popcorn) for $8.37 (tax included). Please include the type of drink - Sprite, Fruitopia or Tap water - that you would like to order.

Approved volunteers are needed to accompany students on the bus and while at the theatre (please indicate this in schoolcash). Volunteers MUST have the appropriate paperwork valid for the current school year and an approved criminal record check (CRC lasts 5 years).
