Auguston's Remembrance Day Assembly

We cordially invite all parents to attend Auguston's Remembrance Day Assembly on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 10:45am. If you are planning to attend, please arrive between 10:30 and 10:40 as our assembly will start with kids coming into the gym at 10:45 (recess times will be adjusted to earlier in the day for the assembly). This is a time for all of us to honour and recognize the many men and women who sacrificed their lives for us in the name of freedom. It is also a time to remind our students that we cannot take freedom for granted. Please join us.

We would like to extend a special invitation to any veterans or members of the military who are connected to our school and who would like to attend. If we are fortunate enough to have some of these individuals attend, we would appreciate families letting us know (auguston@abbyschools.ca) prior to the assembly so we can prepare a special thank you to these individuals. Please let us know some of their information and share a picture if you have one and we can add it to our slide show.
