Earth Day

This year Earth Day fell on April 22 and we recognized Earth Day here at Auguston by:

• No Uni for a Toonie day – students were encouraged to wear earth colours (greens, blues and browns)
• Litter free lunch – students were asked to use compostable wraps or reusable containers to pack lunch items that day (and every day if you can!)
• Community Clean Up School Challenge - students picked up garbage on our school property and in our local community in an attempt to beautify our surroundings and be kind to our earth.
