Basketball for Grade 4/5

There will be Basketball Practices & Games for Grade 4 & 5 students and a Basketball Tournament for selected Grade 5 students.

Games will take place on Wednesdays, April 8, 15, 22 & 29 at Auguston Traditional Elementary & other east end school locations

*All games start by 3:00pm and go for approximately an hour.

Students must arrange their own transportation, and parents must be present during the games, even home games. 

Practices take place on Wednesdays at lunch (after the eating time)

Traditional 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

• Students in Grade 5 will be able to participate on the Basketball team for the tournament taking place at Abbotsford Traditional School on April 21 from 3-5pm.
• Parents are responsible for driving their child to and from ATS.
• Unfortunately, only 7 boys and 7 girls can play at this tournament, so there may be a need to make some selections. Students need to sign up and show up to practice to be considered for the team.
• Approved volunteers are welcome if you can help coach one of the teams. Volunteers MUST have the appropriate paperwork valid for the current school year and an approved criminal record check (CRC lasts 5 years).
