Sports Day Information

We are very excited for our upcoming Sports Day.  A few things you need to know for Friday, June 24:

  • Parents are welcome to come and watch.  Only parents that are official volunteers need to have criminal record check and volunteer paperwork complete.
  • Students will be given a snack at recess.  Please pack additional snacks if you wish and/or parents will have to provide any special snacks for dietary reasons.
  • Students will be given a plastic water bottle for the day.
  • There will be a “free” freezie station for students.
  • There is no concession at Sports Day this year.
  • Hot lunch (if ordered) will be ready to go when students begin the eating period of their lunch break. Students need to be eating in class with their classmates.
  • Parents, feel free to take photos of your own child.  Keep in mind we do have students with “No Photo’s”.  Pictures with friends/other students should not be posted on any social media.
  • We will have students from Middle and High school running stations for us (along with teachers).
  • Teachers will split students up into team colours for the day (this information will come from your child's teacher).  Pinnies will be available for students who don’t have that colour clothing at home.  It is a non uniform day!
  • Please apply sunscreen before they arrive for the day.  We will not be re-applying sun screen for any students due to liability reasons.  Please also send them with water and a hat.  Supposed to be 27 degrees on Friday!
